Yes, I use Linux - on that particular box it is Red Hat Enterprise AS 3.0, and yes the version of s9y we are using is 0.7.1. But, our PHP is 4.3.4 and mySQL is 4.0.16. You may also want to run check table before doing optimize or analyze - it outputs basically the same info as myisamchk but doesn't require your tables to be out of comission while its running.
