this is my testing blog... http://www.b-p-s.net/s9y/clean/serendipity/ Its been requested of me by my boss (his blog) that I get the captcha's working in a consistent manner so they can be enabled for all comments. The reasoning is that its a fairly heavily trafficked blog and we get lots of spam at...

I got an email from a person whose blog I maintain today telling me that they can't approve moderated comments when using the link provided in the email that is sent. They said that when they click the link nothing happens - they're just taken to the page that displays the original entry and whateve...

Yes, I use Linux - on that particular box it is Red Hat Enterprise AS 3.0, and yes the version of s9y we are using is 0.7.1. But, our PHP is 4.3.4 and mySQL is 4.0.16. So - here's the output of the clean install I just did: Attemping to setup database... Checking to see if the database is already in...

Yes - I'm sure I used my 'goddess-like' account...on one box its the only account that exists for the database. Do you have VMWare or something similar? I could send you a virtual machine that is set up exactly like my production machine where the index creation fails. Honestly, I didn't even know t...

In your case, if you run check table you probably want to use the option extended as it does a full key lo...

I know...but I had to ask. Pop-up windows aren't going to do it...I'm going to have to write something. ;)

While I'm on the subject of comments...you don't happen to have anything that paginates them, do you? You know - like how the main entries are paginated?

Thanks.

Hmm...I don't see that and I'm using 0.7.1...can't upgrade at the moment for several reasons - at least not until until 0.8 is an honest-to-goodness stable release. ;) So - I installed 0.8-alpha9 from s9y_200501141338.tar.gz on my test box today and still don't see what you're talking about. http://...
