Hi all.
Well, I couldn't find a search function on the forum in order to get these questions answered, so I posting here. Please forgive if I am overlooking something...
1) Is Serendipity capable of the the full phpbb forum, or is this a plugin feature in a reduced feature layout? If the full forumns can be used - is this doable right from the setup, or is there a plugin? Coding requred to get it to work?
2) Did I read that Zen Cart is integratable?
3) In order to add pages with content and or pictures, (apart from blogging) are static pages required (Html)?
4)Can Blogs be programmed to "Go live"?
5) (Is the Serendipty Web site powered by Serendipity Blog? If not, then what?
6) Last but, in no way least is SEO. Does Serendipty have search engine friendly URLs?
It is amazing that the people involved in a project like this can make it look so grand. The resources required must have been enormous. Even though I haven't used it, and may not - I am sure that this project must be appreciated by those advantaging themselves of it.
Great - no, AMAZING work.

You can easily add static pages from the admin frontend using the 'Static pages' plugin. No need to code static html yourself. Plus, those static pages generated using the plugin can be integrated easily into the blog.lexscripta wrote:3) In order to add pages with content and or pictures, (apart from blogging) are static pages required (Html)?
coWiki, as far as I can seelexscripta wrote:5) (Is the Serendipty Web site powered by Serendipity Blog? If not, then what?
As far as I know, this basically means to have 'nice' URLs using Apache's rewrite engine? Yes, it can be configured to do that.lexscripta wrote:6) Last but, in no way least is SEO. Does Serendipty have search engine friendly URLs?

Hi!
We for example simply made a similar looking phpBB theme for s9y.org.
There is a forum plugin for s9y which mimics the most important forum functions. But of course it's not as feature-rich and well-tested like phpBB.
HTH and best regards,
Garvin
You can try to embed a phpBB installation into an iframe of your blog; otherwise phpBB is pretty hard to embed properly, so s9y doesn'T really support that. At least not that I know, but I'm not experienced in phpBB.1) Is Serendipity capable of the the full phpbb forum, or is this a plugin feature in a reduced feature layout? I'm afraid you misread that. Zen Cart might be implemented if you create a plugin for that, though.2) Did I read that Zen Cart is integratable?
What do you mean with this?4)Can Blogs be programmed to "Go live"?
