we have a plugin for making a backup of the blog-tables, but there are some problems with it.
I found - I think - a very good alternative:
http://www.mysqldumper.de/en/
it is multilangual, very easy to config & use, can mail the backup ...
perhaps it should be a good idea to point to this software on the s9y-page?
