Changed to apache rewrite now I have nothing!

This will teach me to mess around - I changed my config to apache rewrite and now I get nothing - just a 404 error.

I've looked through the MySql database but can not find the setting that needs to be altered back to the original setting - can anyone please help me.

I would first try to delete the file .htaccess inside your blog directory. This should help you to access your blog again.

Thats great - its allowed me back in - I've altered it back to the way it should be and everything is okay again

I'm glad to hear it. It sounds, that your hoster does not support mod_rewrite on the server.
