url Trackbacks

I'm getting this error after I've saved a new entry:

• Checking http://www.s9y.org/ for possible trackbacks...
• Trackback failed: No trackback-URI found.

And I remember reading a question about pingbacks and trackbacks before the problem exposed itself. Is there something I could check in my configuration to enable this feature, or is it something server specific?

I can't claim to be all that knowledgeable on this topic, but that one looks like you've included a link to something at s9y.org in your entry, and whatever it is doesn't have a trackback URI inserted. This isn't so much an error as information: "Hey, I tried to be courteous and let s9y.org know we referenced their article, but they're not interested."

I'll set up a test with a mess of links and see who's interested or bouncing the ping.
