Upgrading 0.8.3 to 0.8.4

What is needed for minor upgrades such as going from 0.8.3 to 0.8.4?
I see the "Upgrading Serendipity" info and it only mentions the upgrade.sh

Just did an upgrade on my test setup. All I did was to copy over the new programs. Is that all that is needed?

I would like to get the right info to help improve the update information.

If replacing the files over is all it takes for the base, what happens with the installed components? On my base setup it seems the additional components (ie static page) worked ok after the upgrade.

According to http://www.s9y.org/index.php?node=37 yes, only copy over the new files and you're done.

I've just added another section about the issue on your own files. Usually all additional components will work fine after an update, since we are paying much attention about backwards compatibility. It is suggested that you look for new versions of your used plugins from time to time.
