line breaks without NL2BR

Hi,

I use javascript and html in my entries so I can not activate the NL2BR plugin. In my entries I use <br> to create a new line.

How can I still generate new lines in comments ? Html tags are stripped from comments and as far as I know BBcode does not have a tag for new lines.

Configure Plugins -> Markup: NL2BR (an event plugin) and set your options there to "no" for Entry and Extended body, but "yes" to comments. Then you will not have to disable that plugin on an entry by entry basis.

FYI - you should be using the self-closing <br />, not <br> if you want to be xhtml compliant.

Hi Don,

I did not realize that the plugin has these configuration options because it was enabled with the initial installation of s9y and I just removed it when it messed up my javascript.

No problem CurlyToe - I probably used it for over 6 months before I realized the plugin had configuration options too!!!
