searching on the net I found - like a serendipity - some technics which could make the editing more easy - instant editing and see what you are doing - without normal WYSIWYG-technics (and problems)!
I don't want to destroy your enthusiasm, but I don't see the use-cases for things like the first and third one.
The second one, markitup, is kind of already implemented with the typesetbuttons-plugin, even though it looks better.
I realized that there are use-cases for the inline-editing. If you want to correct an entry or a comment in the blog you could do this without having to enter the admin-area. But I don't know if that's really possible.
sincerely
only to clarify this: I do not want an inline-editing on the normal blog view!
I mean the backend-editor:
now you can use a wysiwyg-editor, with all the problems.
or you use the plain html editor, with textile, bbcode or so.
Then you have to click on "preview" every time you want to see the result of a (little) change. Then you read the preview, you see the a little error (formating error, spelling error, ...). You have to go down in the browser window, find the relevant place in the editor, make the change and click again on preview ... and so on.
with an inline editing you make a click outside the editor field and voila there is the result. You see the mistake, click on it and you have the editor!
