Embed latest post in my website

Hello all,
I'm really new into this so sorry if this is an already known and discussed issue.
I have an html website and a serendipity instance installed as a "news" area. I would like (if it's possible) to have always embeded the latest post on serendipity on my HTML website homepage so that when a new post is added it reflects on my homepage.

Yes, it is possible with php..... see: http://www.s9y.org/78.html

Look for the last section on that page entitled "Showing entries in foreign webpages"
