Hi, a friend of mine uses the sidebar Authors login plugin (serendipity_plugin_loginform). Login works fine, but users can't logout anymore. This has been mentioned before in the forums (here and here sound like the same problem), yet no solution was posted.
Thing is, it works fine with my installation, even without the serendipity_event_loginform that has been recommended elsewhere.
Could well be an issue with server setup (mod_rewrite or so), but I'm not sure and right now don't have the time to investigate. Is anyone able to offer a solution?
Thanks

Re: Authors logout in sidebar not working
Hi!
This might be caused of general output_buffering maybe enabled in your blog? In that case the headeR() calls of the sidebar plugin would not fail.
Regards,
Garvin

Hi!
The "use gzip" option can be responsible for it. Other than that, it's a php.ini option. Don't know how it's called exactly.

Your provider can tell you where your php.ini is. The php.ini option for output buffering is "output_buffering", and it should be set to "0".
