Sitemap not valid - Parsing Errors

Post by Easyfunk »

Dear s9y Users,

today I messed around with Google's Webmaster Tools. And they told me my Sitemap is not valid. There would be a parsing error. They told me to validate my sitemap, what I did: Check
My Sitemap: http://www.welt-hertha-linke.de//sitemap.xml

Any hints?

Thanks a lot!

So I just have to wait untill Spartacus brings me an Update for this plugin?

It's really a dream using s9y! The bugs are fixed before users told about. Thanks a lot!

Hi!

You have to wait that time, and then you can go to your "Configure plugins" list and click on the "Update" button. Spartacus doesn'T automatically update plugins because it might be that you don't want that - so you need to click the button yourself to check for new plugin updates. :)

Glad you like serendipity :)

Garvin

Right, that's what I meant with "until Spratacus brings me an update".

I took the Update and the error ist gone. But there are a few more errors caused by exclamation marks I used for titles.

It seems to me that fixing one problem brings now another. Or maybe it doesn't belong to each other...

For the errors see the "check" link in my first post.

Thank you.

Hi!

Hm. The "!" character does work for me, and I can't find a place where it says that character is invalid in a URL. It does work when you use that character in a URL, so I think validome is being a bit too overcautious...

Garvin
