Hi
I am a newbie and haven't used Serendipity for too long. I have it on several websites. The newest installation is acting weird.
I have Serendipty 1.12 installed with Mysql Version 5 on Go Daddy. My other 2 installations are also on Go Daddy, but are older and on the older Mysql.
Whenever I want to edit entries - I get this great big red X for the delete instead of the small symbol. I am also getting it on the Media Library too. Over there I get big RESIZE and ROTATE green arrows.
Here is a photo of the big x's

Could anyone tell me if I am doing something wrong - or is this just a bug or something else.
I would appreciate any help that I could get. I just don't know enough about PHP to even have a clue about all of this.
This is the website if that is any help http://www.hipresurfacingnews.com
I am also having problems with the multiple category plug in. It was working and now it isn't. I tried reinstalling it, but it seems to make no difference. When it was working, there was a +categories and you could select several categories. Now the + is missing.
I appreciate the time anyone can take to let me know what might be happening.
Pat

Re: Big Red X Delete Symbols
Hi!
Sadly this is a "misfeature" that happens when you are using the plugin "Browser Compatibility". This plugin tries to convert PNGs with transparency so that the Internet Explorer could show it (which it couldn't until version 7).
Because it replaces images, it sometimes does not calculate the right width/height of an image, especially if those dimensions are not entered in the HTML code.
In your case, you should best uninstall the browser compatibility plugin.

You might need to enter that plugins configuration and enable the option "Allow to select multiple categories"?
