Allow any user to register a blog?

Post by SourceCode »

Hi
I was wondering if it could be possible to allow anyone to register his own blog.
Like domain.com/blog-name
Thanks!

Hi!

Serendipity can use a shared installation hosting with custom scripts: http://blog.s9y.org/archives/120-Shared ... tions.html

Services like supersized.org do it like that.

Hi!

That's right, it needs customized adaptation on your webserver. Without PHP knowledge I'm afraid that it isn't possible to achieve what you want using Serendipity. :-(

No one has yet created code that runs on any server without customization.

Best regards,
Garvin
