How Can I get the Author Login to be only a link on sidebar

Post by jjrose »

Hi,

I have just installed the "Author Login" sidebar on Serendipity V1.1, and I see that it displays the actual form in the sidebar.

I really don't want all that showing publically that way on the side-bar.

What I would like is just a static text link, which then opens up a new page that contains the login form.

How can I do this please?

Perhaps that could also be an extra option in the Author Login Plugin configuration?

Thank you.

You simply have to use a different sidebar plugin :)(serendipity_superuser_plugin)

Edit: Back at home, I can now tell you that the plugin you're looking for is called "Blog Administration" in English :)

I believe that plugin is actually provided with the core installation, isn't it?

Yes, it is. I think it's even one of the "pre-selected" sidebar plugins in a default installation. Haven't done an installation for quite some time

It's definitly there. It's called:

Blog Administration
