how do I make stats plugin work with masked domain?
how do I make stats plugin work with masked domain?
My stats plugin doesn't give me any good data on who comes to my site. I'm guessing it has to do with my masked domain. Any ideas how to fix it?

Hi!
The stats plugin is very basic, maybe you'd better like to use Google Analytics or some other external stat tools like awstats.

Garvin

No, I mean it doesn't tell me where hits are coming from. It gets confused by the masked domain and says everyone comes from blog.elainevigneault.com (a masked domain that redirects to www.elainevigneault.com/serendipity).
I'm just wondering if there is a place to specify that type of information.

Hi!
Sadly your masking just uses a HTTP forward, so there's no way for s9y to detect that this is not a "valid" link.
The way you use the HTTP forward, you have NO way at all to detect wher epeople are coming from! Even Google Analytics is not able to do that. This is because the REFERRER is only submitted to contain the LAST page, not the page before that.
Best regards,
Garvin
