Removing it is very simple, you simply need to edit the index.tpl within your template folder, but be aware, I release templates free to the general public and that link is the only recognition I get.

If you do remove that you are effectively breaching my copyright, and this goes against the principles of open source software. If too many people remove my link, then I'll just stop producing templates.

Sorry to sound harsh, it isn't how I intend this to sound, but I've spent a lot of money with lawyers protecting my copyright of my articles recently, and I've had templates ripped off and credited to other people. That hurts, both in the pocket and emotionally. But maybe if you contect me privately either through PM or using the contact form on my site, maybe we can agree to change the link so it isn't so obvious. Or if you make a small donation, say a few dollars to my Paypal account then I could remove it and make some other modifications for you.

I will try to accomodate you.

I'd just like to close this thread by saying that cmdsonline has contacted me privately and seems like an upstanding new member of the forums, and is genuinely interested in being part of our community.
