Wiki Integration

From what I've read in the messages s9y has integrated CoWiki in some way. Unfortunately if what I read is true, it's a PHP5 based application. Sadly that doesn't help most people with PHP4 hosts.

So with that in mind are there any options for a PHP4 user?

Also, I hope this isn't a sign that s9y is moving towards PHP5 only any time soon? I'm looking to use s9y on at least a couple of websites but don't want to spend the time if PHP4 support is gone soon.

No, we'll be supporting PHP4 until it disappears, I think. Garvin recently refused to insert PHP5-only code.

We haven't integrated CoWiki. We just use CoWiki for our main site.

We do have a wiki plugin, as I recall. Maybe it'll do what you want? Otherwise, you'll have to figure out how to embed another wiki.

Can I see an example of the wiki plugin? Does it show on the main page, or where?

Sorry, I don't know; perhaps the author will respond.

You can always try it (perhaps on a test blog) and remove the plugin if it doesn't work for you.

If it helps at all, my webhost recently upgraded my server and I now only have PHP 5. The only issues I encountered with my Serendipity installs were with the path to PEAR in config.inc.php.
