I am trying to develop a website that will have a calendar page that only one or two people can edit can be a static page or acutal calendar layout page.
I was wondering if I could imbed a photo gallery with this program such as http://gallery.menalto.com/?
Also with the blog plugin can I have it where people can register to blog and when they register for the blog I can autorize poeple to allow them to have their own blog or make comments? If not can I imbed another blog program that will alow me do this?
I would appreciate any help please..
Help me decided if Serendipity
What I ment was you know in forums when you register sometimes you have wait till the administrator will allow for you to register or post. I was just wondering if there are the same features for blogging when register that it dosen't automitically give you the access you have to be giving permission.
Also can I design my own navagation on the leftside of Serendipity ?

Hi!
You can configure the Self-Registration plugin to decide how/if users can post without admin approval - and in which usergroup with which permissions such a user will be put in.
The user-self registraion plugin only allows people to create entries on your account. It does not enable people to have their own independent blog.
Best regards,
Garvin

Yes, serendipity is completely templated, so you can customize any output. Also can I design my own navagation on the leftside of Serendipity ?

Hi!

Best regards,

Which plugin do you mean? There is no "blog plugin". Do you mean the "User Self-Registration" plugin? Its describtion says that the only thing it does it add authors to the weblog that people register on.iampedro wrote:I thought that the blog plugin allowed for multiple bloggers? Am I wrong to ask that?
Uhm...I don't know what you were wanting? So you are saying that there is only one blog correct that I can have and multiple people that can post comments but I was wanting if Serendipity could have multiple blogs?
Best regards,
Garvin
