Problem about URL/Categories/1-xxx. Always show all archive

Post by lidan »

http://lidan.info

It worked this morning(Beijing time)

But now it got problem, feel helpless :P

And another thing about S9Y: performance.

the index.php takes 1-1.5 minutes, and Wordpress takes only 0.6-0.9 minutes, errr....., it's only the difference between the number on footer.
I feel s9y faster than wordpress.
can anyone explain that?

Thanks.

Hi!

So you changed the Category Permalink, right? What does your permalink path setup in s9y look like? It seems that something there is not properly setup so that s9y cannot match what URL you requested.

s9y stores all permalinks in the serendipity_permalinks DB table, did you check if "categories/29" is listed there?

Best regards,
Garvin

Many Thanks to Garvin, the issue is solved.

Because I import the data from Wordpress via phpMyadmin (because Mysql Charet settings are quite complicated, and I use UTF-8)

the category constructure is quite different, and I leave the category_left and category_right 0.

So it's the problem.

I delete all the categories and add them one by one, then update entrycat with phpMyadmin, now it works fine.

Thanks a lot, Garvin.

I like s9y more than wordpress. wahahahaha

Hi!

Oh, okay. :) If the parentid was properly, you could have tried to just create a temporary new category from within s9y, which should have fixed the left/right category ids. :-)

Have fun with Serendipity, I hope you continue to like it! :)
