By the way, Garvin, I just wanted to say thank you for all your help. I've made so many requests for it in the past few weeks since I discovered Serendipity. It's because I'm not that tech savvy, yet Serendipity puts so many really powerful features within my reach that I never would have attempted ...

I DID enter them with just a comma and no space as the separator. However, I had to break them up here, or else it would have wrecked the width of the browser window. :) http://www.blogroots.com/tb_populi.blog?id=1 http://api.my.yahoo.com/rss/ping http://bblog.com/ping.php http://bitacoras.net/ping/...

What I input was like this (obviously not putting my ACTUAL info on here): localhost hathor_user password hathor_wp wp_ That did seem to match the info in phpmyadmin. The only one I had to look up was the last one, because the rest are pretty standard in anything that queries a database. I'm no php ...

I know you guys put in a ton of effort, and fortunately, I only had 76 entries to replace, and it was well worth it to gain the advantages of Serendipity over WordPress. I'm not blaming you. :D I tried every combination I could think of for the database names. I would THINK the correct names would b...

Thanks anyway. I did that, exactly like you said, and it just didn't work. That's why I was thinking it must want the S9 database, even though that made no sense. My WP table prefix is wp_ just like you said, but it wouldn't accept that. Kept telling me various tables didn't exist, so the import had...

Then I tried to find the layout file, but it doesn't exist anymore...? blog at http://thehathorlegacy.info By the way, thanks for answering the questions I've had over the past couple of weeks. I've installed the XHTML cleanup plugin, but is there something I need to do to get it to clean up old posts, assuming that's the trouble?

Okay, I may be misunderstanding how this plug in works - believe me, I'm not that savvy - but I tried to use it to run an include for a stat php script, and it seems fine, but what displays on the blog is: Parse error: parse error, unexpected '<' in /home/wwwtheh/public_html/plugins/serendipity_plug...

I'm using 8.2 and having the same problem as the first poster, and my plug-ins directory is set to 777. For good measure, I also set plugins.inc.php to 777, and double-checked that there were no blank lines at the bottom of it. Any suggestions? Trying to open URL http://cvs.sourceforge.net/viewcvs.p...
