Re: Being spammed?
Another thing you can do is go to your admin area > comments > configure anti-spam methods and then scroll down to the bottom on the next page and make sure "no logging" in selected in the "Choose logging" method option. If it's set to database logging and you get a lot of spam c...

Re: Performance! How to make it better?
Why is load of 0.85 considered high? Even if you only have one CPU core a load of 0.85 isn't particularly high for a Linux web server. You can easily handle a load of 2x CPU core count. What's the CPU idle percentage? Are you using apache prefork or worker? Most likely it's the former but you can co...

Re: Entries being bombarded by unwanted comments
They are testing your site's spam protection. When they notice a spam comment stays up they bring in the big guns and start spamming you for real. They've gotten real clever now and it's no longer a case of straightforward spamming.

Re: was this never thought?
There are only a few devs working on s9y so you'll have to contribute code if you want changes made. Anyway if you click on the thumbnail of a template you can see its full image if the author included one with the theme.

New BlackLens serendipity theme
Its been a long time since I last created a theme for s9y. Anyway here is a new theme I created for serendipity. I don't know why but I call it blacklens and it's available for download: http://abdussamad.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/07/preview_fullsize-e1310307854991-289x300.jpg Direct Download link...

Re: new theme "foto"
Gorgeous themes. A few small bugs. The category links above the post title on the frontpage are wrong: http://urlaubsfoto.org/categories/35-Deutschlandhttp://urlaubsfoto.org/categories/18-West-Europa Looks like they are two links that have been concatenated by mistake. The other bug is that the home...

Re: style.css Image field txt name?
serendipity_imageComment_txt is the selector you are looking for. For example:
Code: Select all
.serendipity_imageComment_txt{
font-size: 1.5em;
}

Re: Timestamp in RSS feed
There is another timestamp up top in the RSS feed. I believe its supposed to indicate the last modification date of the RSS feed. Its <pubdate> tag right under the <generator> tag. The bug fix is in plugin_internal.inc.php in the includes dir. This is the line that has to be changed: $bag_content = ...

Timestamp in RSS feed
I noticed that the time in the RSS feed on my site was off. Basically the contents of <pubdate></pubdate> is given as the entry timestamp after application of server offset but with the pre-offset timezone. The result is an incorrect time in the RSS feed. The bug can be fixed by modifying this line ...

Re: post dating articles
I notice when I date an article to go up later, I see the pingomatic and sitemap alerts say SUBMITTED. So is it up on Google Search immediately, and if someone clicks the link, they come to the site rather than the article and cant find it? How does that work? Thanx RJ Yeah I've noticed that too. I...

Re: Nofollow Case by Case Plugin+Tutorial
AFAIK there is no rel="dofollow" tag. Therefore I suggest that the plugin output "rel='nofollow'" in its entirety or nothing at all. In code you've presented about it should be simply: <a class="comment_source_url" href="{$comment.url}" {$comment.follow} title...
