globally moderate or disable trackbacks

My site is under attack right now. I am getting dozens and dozens of trackback spam. Is there a way to globally moderate trackbacks, then let them be deleted after x days if they are not approved? Or turn off trackbacks entirely?

Thank you.

I'm getting hammered by trackback spam as well..

Code: Select all

Requires review: Yes (Auto-moderation after X days)

Weblog Name: texas holdem

I can't find where to configure "Auto-moderation after X days" on the admin pages. Does this mean after X amount of days, the trackback is rejected, or approved?

The spam always comes from these people:

OrgName: RIPE Network Coordination Centre
OrgID: RIPE
Address: P.O. Box 10096
City: Amsterdam

As soon as I ban one ip address/range, they use another one.

I'm getting hit too.

Ann Elisabeth has been tracking these guys from her blog.

She thinks they're in Bulgaria somewhere.

Anyway, I need a way to disable trackbacks! Deleteing them one by one is not practical.

Please see this announcement: http://www.s9y.org/forums/viewtopic.php?p=4378

(the download URL seems to be unavailable for the moment, damn)

The X days means comments+trackbacks get moderated, not rejected. In current versionof the plugin you can disable all trackbacks.

Just received another 100 trackback spams but, because of the 0.8 upgrade, they are not getting through. Thanks!

Also, I love the new interface.
