I was thinking about getting serendipity

I was thinking about getting serendipity for my website. I don't know if this is the best fit though. I want to allow users to blog on our website, like Ebay does, http://blogs.ebay.com/.

I realize serendipity has many more features than Ebay's blog, but I just want something simple for my user to use. Is serendipity a good solution for this? If not, can someone suggest something else? Thank you.

Hi!

Serendipity is quite easy to use, and using a plugin called "User Self-Registration" you can allow people to write entries to your blogs.

I suggest to just have a look at it, or get a demo account on http://www.supersized.org/ to see how serendipity 'feels' like.

Garvin

Nevermind I found it. Do you suggest any other plugins for the way I am trying to use Serendipity?

Hi!

All Serendipity plugins can be found here: http://spartacus.s9y.org/ -- and if your server supports it, you can install the default plugin called "Spartacus" which allows you to download plugins over the web interface easily.

That pretty much depends on what you need. :)
