Moving from s9y to wordpress. Is it possible?

Hi,

I am thinking of migrating my serendipity blog to wordpress. is it possible to do it?

Any tools which could possibly help me with this migration? Please help me with the pointers.

Any helpful instructions would be very great for me.

Hi!

That's possible, but I'd strongly to think about that because of latest security and release issues with WP - going mainstream might be a dangerous thing to do.

I think I've read about s9y->WP SQL conversion utilities, you should best have a check on the wordpress forums, since I'm not much into their community

Is there anything specific that makes you want to do the move? Maybe there's something in serendipity we can improve to make your wishes come true, or point you to things that you can already do with s9y...

this is sy9 importer for wordpress.. upload this into ur wordpress plugin folder then u have a new menu in ur wordpress admin to transfer ur serendipity database to wordpress.. i already try and it's easy to use..

but after all that prosess.. i still stick with sy9 because i must upload so many plugin into new wordpress database befoure i use.. correct me if i'm wrong... r u want to use wordpress because they have many theme???
