Tagging plugin no longer showing related?

After a recent upgrade of the tagging plugin, it was displaying twice in the side bar, so I uninstalled it, and reinstalled it. Now, all my entries display tags, but the "related" entries no longer display, even though the configuration screen says "Display related entries by tags?"
Anyone have any ideas?

Hi!
So in your configuration of sidebar and event plugins, the tagging plugin is only listed once, right? One time in the sidebar section and one time in the event section?
You can configure both plugins to show things, did you check both configuration options?
Do you know which version you were previously using? I think the 'related' entries function was changed to only show related entries in the single article view...?
