I've noticed some other people's blogs just show the first few lines of a post with a more... link (an example http://www.frequentsee.net/)

Can that be done in Serendipity? (Have done a quick search and look, but no joy yet)

Hi!

Serendipity offers a "body" and "extended" section for entries. You can manually then insert a teaser and the full text that is available when youc lick on "more".

This solution is much more sophisticated than an automatic splitting with "...", so you should use this way preferably!
