The above is a sample RSS feed with the problem.

On all the posts, it begins with a few lines cut off with the "more" tag.
(I never use the more tag)

Then the same text will repeat again immediately below the teaser with the full post.

IS THERE A WAY TO ELIMINATE THAT BEGINNING "MORE" TAG SECTION?

At Wordpress, I have it set to full text, RSS2. I don't use the "more" function.

Thanks...oddcarl

'Hi!

Maybe you can tell us more about the proble? Without a description we don't know what's going wrong. :-D

It seems you are importing a WP RSS feed and then something is displayed wrong. What exactly? And did you play with the RSS import options, especially the ones referring to 'extended' body?

Also, maybe instead of importing RSS you better want to import the entries from the database? Or is it frmo a blog you don't have access to?

Regards,
Garvin

Hi Garvin, thanks for the reply. Yes, it's an RSS import from my old blog. The problem is a teaser which shouldn't be there, is showing above the main post. I don't use a teaser and the "more" tag.
(the teaser shows in the piece of code I posted)

Just wondering how I can eliminate that teaser?
(I can also try a db import)

Thanks..oddcarl

Hi!

If the teaser is in the RSS feed undistincted, I don't really know what to do...if there's no rule that s9y can follow to extract it. Maybe you can change something in the WP RSS Feed?

A DB import generally would be a lot more easier and more complete (RSS import doesn'T catch comments, DB does)

Garvin

OK, thanks Garvin, yes, I'll play with the RSS on side of Wordpress, maybe it's a glitch they have, LOL.

In anycase, if it doens't work, I'll do the db import.

Thanks a lot!
