Hi

I would like to give certain authors a standard category. It would be nice to have this as a config option in admin/users. Or is it allready in 1.1?

Secondly it would be nice to have the buildcache module just caching changed or new articles. Its always a long way going through all items.

Hi!

The first thing is an interesting feature; this currently is not implemented in neither a plugin nor 1.1, but it could be done as both. Or maybe it is in the "entrycheck" plugin, did you check that out?

About the second thing: Whenever you write a new article or edit an existing article the cache is automatically build, so you don'T need to rebuild your cache in that case. Rebuilding the cache is really only required when you NEED to rebuild ALL articles.

No, I did not check the "entrycheck" plugin. I would expect this as a config feature for the site admin to restrict authors to all, some or one category.
Does the plugin do this? I think it should be in core.
