Link counting and trackbacks

I'm using the nightly version from 20061114 and since then i'm having trouble with trackbacks and the event plugin trackexits. It looks like the url rewriting of trackexits is performed first and then s9y tries to send a trackback to that URL which fails obviously. I din't change the order of the plugins so I guess it's something that broke somewhere in there.

Hi Rexxer!
Awesome catch! Very important bug!
I fixed it here:

Sorry, either I'm too stupid to download that file (I used the one from the trunk) or there's still something wrong:

Hi!
Hm, are you sure you downloaded and replaced the file properly? So that the 'drafted_entry' variable is now in your file?
Maybe it's also a problem with other plugins. Which event plugins do you have installed in which order?
Regards,
Garvin

I just rechecked and yes it is in there. I have to add that I downloaded the nightly of yesterday, because 'my' nightly didn't yet contain the db_time-function. After that I copied the modified file into its directory where it still is.

Okay, this might get a bit longish:
- HTML in Kommentaren maskieren
- Textformatierung: Serendipity
- Textformatierung: Smilies
- Textformatierung: NL2BR
- Browser-Kompatibilität
- Übliche XHTML-Fehler beseitigen
- Textformatierung: BBCode
- Spartacus
- Karma
- Trackback-Control
- [Layout-Plugin: Link-Formatierung]
- HTML Link Metatags
- Regeln für Veröffentlichungen
- Freie Artikel-Tags
- Creative Commons Lizenz
- Smilie-Auswahlleiste
- Statistiken
- Spamschutz
- Nächster/Voriger Artikel
- Link List (is that even an event-plugin?)
- Registrierung neuer User
- Einträge ankündigen
- Textformatierung: Externe Links zählen
- Show links to services like Digg, Technorati, del.icio.us etc related to your entry.
- Erweiterte Eigenschaften von Artikeln
Phuh. That's all there is.

Andre

Okay, I still get the same reaction after updating to last night's nightly. I just decided to deactivate the trackexits plugin for the time being.

Hi!
Hm, but it works here on my blog. Did you try to create a new entry instead of editing an old one and see where trackbacks are sent to?

I did. This morning, after I updated to last night's nightly, I wrote an entry with a link to my blog and it still attempted to trackback the URLs trackexits uses. I changed the order of the eventplugins and put trackexits at the top but that still didn't work.

Hi!
do you put any URLs into the "Trackback" section of the advanced properties? (the "manual trackback" plugin section)?

Garvin

No, I don't usually do that.

Hm, strange, it really works here.
Could you try to create a temporary 1.1-snapshot installation somewhere, install the trackexits plugin and see if it works?

I'll try it on my local server. Might take a bit of time

My local installation does it right. It checks the correct URL for its trackback address and sends a trackback there. It looks like there is some kind of interference with one or more of the other event plugins. Do you happen to have an idea which ones might be the problem so I could narrow the search?
edit: I installed all event plugins on my local blog and I get the same error as on my real blog:
Now I'll try to disable the plugins one at a time. Sounds like real work.
another edit:
As soon as I disable serendipity_event_emoticate the URL works again. I have absolutely no idea why this happens, but it does. I'm just guessing that something might be wrong with emoticate.

Same Problem here with the nightly from 20061116 and exit Link Counting. Just wanted to let you know. Also in the Configuration with the Format Smilies Plugin
moved away
Hi, after uninstalling the exit Link Plugin and installing the 20061117 nightly + reinstalling the exit Link Plugin I'm sucessfully experiencing that the Bug has moved away - its gone - finished - closed?

Nope, that doesn't do it for me. I tried even copying all the files of 200611172342's nightly over the ones that were there. That only helps if I (accidentaly) keep Exit Tracking disabled, as I did on my server. After I enabled tracking again it still doesn't work.

Andre.
