Technorati feed anomaly

We've been having a little trouble getting Technorati to index our site. We just got a note for a Technorati engineer. In the discussion, he thought this was an anomaly:
The Atom feed mime type in the http://www.strumpette.com markup for
rel="alternate" are unconventional, "application/x.atom+xml" should be
"application/atom+xml"
?

Isn't x.atom+xml our default?

HI!

Googling for:

http://www.google.de/search?q=applicati ... S:official

actually shows me that x.atom+xml is the previous form, which should work as well? You can change it in your index.tpl templates, though, if you want.

HTH,
Garvin
