Is it possible to disable the media library?
I only want to serve external media.

You don't have to use the media library. What do you mean by "serve external media" though?

Hi!
You can "forbid" the media library by configuring the usergroups permissions ("Manage groups") so that the group you use for your users does not have any "adminImages*" permissions...?

Perfect for me 
The media library is disabled in the navigation. If i switch from wysiwyg to normal editor there is still the 'media' button. So its possible to choose (use) the media library.
