This has probably been asked already, but I'm gonna ask again.
I know we can set up some type of sign-up deal for users, but I'm not sure how to set it up so that they are just able to post comments, and not actual posts.
Can someone guide me through what to do here? The last thing I want is readers signing up and being able to write posts. =D

Hi!
You can use the "User Self-Registration" plugin and configure that so that users do not have publish/entry privileges. The config options of the plugin are pretty self-explanatory, so have a try. Also search up "user self registration" in that forum, there are several threads about it.
I'm sure you'll get this up and running in no time.
