Extended entry problem

I'm trying to post an extended entry but without splitting the page but I keep getting this as the final output.

Image

It only posts the first word in the extended entry then all those page that don't exist.

Any help in correcting that would be greatly appreciated.

That's... bad. What template are you using? Does this occur on the front page, the single-entry page, and/or the extended entry view?

My knee-jerk reaction is that the entries.tpl is corrupted and needs to be reloaded.

I'm using the coffee bar template but it happens on any template.

It happens on all the pages.

I assume you're using Serendipity v1.0, then. If it happens in multiple templates, it's unlikely that the template files are corrupted; certainly *one* of the other templates uses its own entries.tpl. You can try re-uploading the templates/default/entries.tpl anyway, just in case.

What plugins do you have installed? Can you give us a URL to the blog, so we can have a look ourselves?

I'm using Serendipity 1.0.1

I made a sample post at http://www.thetrenchcoat.com/archives/1 ... -guys.html

The plugins I'm using are

Markup: Serendipity
Markup: Emoticate
Markup: NL2BR
Browser Compatibility
Spam Protector
Statistics
Spartacus
Show Emoticon/Smilie toolbar
Announce entries
Split long entries
Trackback-Control
Links to next/previous entry
Contact Form
Markup: BBCode
Static Pages
Link List
Tagging of entries
Backup Interface ()
LJ/MySpace/Serendipity Update Plugin

I've reinstalled entries.tpl in both template folders and it's still happening.

Thanks. I checked out the source, and it's not a CSS problem. I'm betting the "Split Long Entries" plugin is causing some trouble. Could you remove it temporarily and see if the output changes?

Yes, when I turn off the split page plugin the extended entry works fine.
