Hi, quick question:

is there another way to disable the manipulation of the entry dates beside adding

$serendipity['allowDateManipulation'] = false;

to your serendipity_config_local.inc.php
?

I suppose you could do the same thing in a plugin.

Exactly, using the 'frontend_configure' hook.
