Wishlist: list posts in more than one category?

I moved to Serendipity from Wordpress a couple of months ago and so far I'm very happy. The only thing I miss is the ability to include some posts in more than one category. (Or perhaps this is possible and I don't know how?)

Hi!

Yes, this is easily possible: When you create an entry, you have a "+" icon next to the category dropdown. Just click on it, and the category list will expand and you can use the combo box as a multiple selection box.

Best regards,
Garvin

Actually I spoke too soon. Selecting more than one category only seems to work if the categories are adjacent. E.g if I have these categories:

A:
B:
C:
D:
E:

I can label a post with, say D and E but not with A, D, E. If I try to do so I lose either A or D and E.

I tried selecting all of them and then removing the unwanted ones but that doesn't seem to work either.

Hi!

Hm, but I can choose that in my blog just fine! Could you send a screenshot?

Which serendipity version do you use? Which Browser are you using? Could you try Firefox, if by chance you are using a MacOS browser or Opera?

Best regards,
Garvin

This is Firefox, on Linux. It's the latest version of Serendipity. I tried from two different computers on my LAN.

I think I may have misunderstood the instructions. I thought you could do it all in one go, but I think you have to do it sequentially. Is that right? It's a bit difficult but I got it to work eventually. The problem is that the category you selected last keeps disappearing unless you are careful.
