How to create multiple blogs

I am donating server space the the high school radio station and I need to have 7-9 diffrent blogs so each group has one. How sould i acomplish this. Thank you in advance for any help

Hi!
You could search the
www.s9y.org site or forums for "Shared Installation".
The easiest way of course would be to just install 7-9 independent s9y installations. Then you could also best customize them. If you need to specific customization, the shared installation though contains less overhead. But is a bit tricky to setup, if you have little technical knowledge.

So the only way to do it is to have different installations of serendipity? correct... You can't have people register for a new blog with out doing a new install correct?

Yeah, even though multiple ionstallations of s9y can be powered from the same codebase, so you only need a few individual files and an individual set of DB tables...

Right, at least not out of the box; you would need to write a plugin for that.
