Partial Rss Feed

Is there a way to only feed out a little of the entry on the RSS feed instead of the whole entry? I see on the Syndication plugin it allows you to leave out the extended entry but I was wondering about making the main entry shorter. Thanks for any help.

Hi!
Actually this is why the Teaser Entry Body / Extended Entry seperation in the serendipity entry manager was created.
You could make the entry shorter by editing your feed_*.tpl templates and replace the {$entry.body} with {$entry.body|truncate:60} or something like that.
However I really suggest you to use the teaser pane how it's meant to be, and not cripple your RSS feeds.
Think about your visitors. I for one really hate shortened/meaningless feed truncation.
