Is there a way to export my S9Y blog into blogML format?

Hi!
BlogML sounds interesting, I'll try to write an importer and exporter based on this. It's just like another output module as the RSS feed export/import, since it's also XML.
Currently though the .xsd documentation is lacking many things, so I think the blogML format needs some improvements before it really covers most of usage cases...
Best regards,
Garvin

Does the latest release of BlogML 2.0 contain the needed improvements?

Hi!
This sounds a lot more better, yes! I hope to find time to work on this, this is much more promising now.
If anyone else would like to have a try at implementing it, I would be glad to offer help.
Regards,
Garvin

I just added this to the SourceForge TODO list. Now we won't forget it, and when we fix it, Serendipity will get a little bump in the SourceForge ratings.

Two years, and no implementation.

Is this an offer to help with development? That's great!

Sadly, the truth is, we would really need some volunteers for this. I personally have no plans to migrate my content to anything other than Serendipity, so there is no real incentive or motivation for myself to do it.
I really do understand the need for this though, but since my own time is limited, I have to make some cuts somewhere, and usually I cut at places that I don't have urges for myself, or things that are only requested by few people...

Garvin
