I just ran across this and found it unique. Was wondering some of the developers thoughts on perhaps a port of this...I know s9y has the wordpress askimet plugin (via the s9y blog announcement) integrated...but in the quest to sqaush spam...I thought this one was a nifty one as well.
It has an API page here:

Dunno since I don't code at all...but thoughts on this?

Hi!
Well, basically our core spamblock plugin already does most of these things; I couldn't see something that spamblock couldn't do -- is there anything specific you are missing, then the plugin could be enhanced?
Other plugins like the SURBL spamblock already are kind of a sub-karma plugin like the karma-plugins, so actually I'm not sure I get what you want
Best regards,
Garvin

I guess I was under the impression it had some sort of tracking system. On some of the blogs I visited it had the number of blocked spam message attempts that it displayed in the footer...

Hi!
The spamblock plugin also logs caught spam in the database, if configured. It would be easy to include an output on how many spam was caught.
I personnally think this information is exceptionally useless to your visitors, though. Why would I want to know how many spam you get, as a visitor? It would be interesting to see how many visitors you have...
Best regards,
Garvin

It'd be similar to having a "Protected by XX Security Systems" sticker or sign on your window or in your yard at your home. It might deter others from trying to spam you?
I don't know...but thanks for answering Garvin
Just didn't know what it had that we didn't (which you've answered as "nothing" which makes me quite happy)
