Hi all,
My other half has decided she doesn't like my templates

and wants to design her own

which means a new template is available to
download and use from my site.
Enjoy

Really nice piece of work - although I'm sure ceejay likes some of your templates too

Hope it's the first of many,
Dave

Hi,
i like this theme, but i would like the date to appear as 6. Juli 2006 instead of Juli 6. 2006.
Do i have to edit this in entries.tpl?
Also, what is the " Enter the URL of your Avatar eg '
http://www.somesite.url'" good for? I've put in an image url and do not see it on my whole site.
Regards, Harald

Sorry about the delay answering this,
to change the date, open config.inc.php and edit this line
Code: Select all
@define('DATE_FORMAT_CEEJAY01_TITLE', '%B %e. %Y');
Change the date to '%e %B %Y'
As for the avatar url, I'm sorry that appears to have been left in by mistake. We had originally intended putting it into the spot where the pink flower is, but then removed it. I'll see if I can het an updated template made that had a header image with a blank space but it might take a couple of weeks, sorry about this.

Thanks carl for the support. I've changed the date format now and i change the pink flower if you allow. I would love to see more templates of your wife

Really one of the best i've tested (for me).

Um, sorry. Another question.
I have a "Add a comment" and "Link to this post" below my entries. Why isn't this in german? And how can i convert this to german?

Hi Harald,
Thanks for the feedback. ceejay is new to serendipity templates and even though I helped with some of the code she did most of the work and it looks like she's used English text in the entries.tpl rather than use a serendipity language constant. Once again I'm really sorry. Oh dear, a closer look shows a major error in the comments and trackbacks in the entry footer.
Could you give the German tranlsation for
1. Add Comment
2. Link to this Entry
I'll update the zipfile as soon as I get this. If anyone wants ceejay01 translated into any other language, please add the translations for your language as well and I will update the zipfile to include them as well.

Hi!
Both translations are actually part of the main s9y language file:
ADD_COMMENT and LINK_TO_ENTRY.
HTH and Best regards,
Garvin

Ah, ok. So I don't need to give the german phrase, ceejay just need to add those two variables?

Thanks guys, I've updated the
template zipfile and also removed the avatar bit in the config file, I will put this back soon, but it seems to have confused a couple of people, Garvin are you able to update spartacus?

Carl, i have to say thank you. One last thing.
The search (top right) never gives me a result. It just says
Found 0 static pages:
Is it possible, that there went something wrong with the search field?
Great, you've fixed the small issue.

Hi Harald, I just checked the searchform and it should work flawlessly. The code is identical to the usual searchform plguni code but with the added javascript to make the text reappear. I've used that form on 5 or 6 templates now without any problems, I think maybe Garvin or one of the developers might have to help us troubleshoot the problem.
