I'd like to know if there is a way to disable NL2BR on the Entry Body section, but leave it enabled on the Extended Body section?

which version of the Markup: NL2BR plugin are you using?

I've got 1.2, and it's got a seperate behavior setting for entry vs. extended, so you should be able to disable one while leaving it set for the other.

I have 1.2 as well, but I do not see this option.

Under "Extended properties for entries" I see one checkbox to disable NL2BR and it affects the whole entry.

Perhaps there is another plugin I require?

What version of serendipity are you using? (0.9.1 for me)

Here's the event plugins I've got installed:

-Markup: Serendipity
-Markup: NL2BR
-Spam Protector
-Spartacus
-User Profiles
-User Self-Registration
-Forgot Password
-Links to next/previous entry

Maybe I am only on 0.9.0, so says the admin login page.

UPDATE:

Indeed I am on 0.9.0. I will upgrade to 0.9.1 and report back!

Thanks

I was having some wacky issues when I installed the "static pages" plug-in (it kept trying to download php pages instead of view them...). Maybe try disabling it and see if that affects anything?

Thanks for the suggestion but that didn't work. I actually have two blogs running S9Y and neither of them allow this. The second does not have the static pages plugin installed but still no go.

You can configure the nl2br plugin if it shall apply markup to body or extended body.

But you can disable nl2br completely only per-entry, and not seperately disable it.

Thus, you could configure it to only always apply nl2br to the extended entry and never be applied to the body.

Garvin

Well I removed the NL2BR plugin and reinstalled it and now it works!

Perfect.
