Yes, the karma plugin counts the hits to webpages. No matter where they are from.

This bug is annoying. Any idea to fix that problem?

I put Disallow : /index.php into my robots.txt to disallow bots doing karma votes, and i think crawlers will still find every content as every is being reachable with those rewritten URLs. Am i correct?

You could start to compile a huge list of HTTP_USER_AGENTs for webbots and then patch the karmaplugin to bail out if any of those matches the current user agent

The karma plugin also counts a hit when people come to a rewritten url. So that won't help at all, I'm sorry. :)

ok, but the votes won´t be corrupted as they are done by the index.php which is being blocked. is that right?

Votes are executed via javascript, so robots should not be able to "click" them at all!

Mit jabber bin ich nicht so häufig online und hab auch öfter probleme, aber ICQ sollte gehen :)

Looks like the MSN bot can process certain JS scripts. I don´t know how else he could execute voting.
