When I make a post with *s in it, some of it gets ripped out. The text i have entered is

However what the user sees is

How can I have the *s show up?

Turn off serendipity markup

I guess I was really looking to change that on a post by post basis, rather than globally, but that doesn't seem to be possible.

No, not at the moment, we talked about it - but can't find the best way to do it
