Thumbnail Page Plugin not working

The Serendipity_event_thumbnails plugin, doesn't work with the most recent version of Serendipity, installing and going to the link returns you to the main index.php page.
Shows a thumbnail page. Address is index.php?serendipity[page]=thumbs

That plugin is very old and I think it got only code upgrades when things clearly broke, not real upgrades. Did it work properly in s9y 2.3.5? What is the plugin supposed to do?

Yes it did previously work, was something I sometimes add/remove depending on what i am adding to my site.

It just displays a page of thumbs for the entire media library, and clicking on the thumbs opens the image
