Is there a way to turn off Categories/RSS feeds from appearing on the page?

The category feeds are only shown in the sidebar plugin, right? You could hide the RSS icon with CSS (do you need help with that?) or you could activate smarty templating in the plugin configuration, add a plugin_categories.tpl file to your theme and then edit that file so that the RSS icons are removed.

But if you run a blog I would really recommend you to keep those RSS icons intact, they are useful for visitors that know how RSS works.

Okay... thanks for the reply. I will have a think about it. I will have a look at how to use some of the plugins. I haven't ventured down that path yet. I am concerned too much tinkering may break my setup
