Image popup window

Hi,
I notice when I go to the image manager and click on the magnifying glass to display the larger image. I get a perfectly sized popup window. I would love to see this same function as an option when inserting an image from the image manager, making the thumbnail link to the larger image.

I think I can do it through inserting java code with the link, but it would be nice to automate it a little more.

I agree 100%. The olny thing I miss about Movable Type is the popup page from a thumb in an article. The page fits the image exactly. I am sure this could be hacked into Serendipity, maybe throw in template editing?
