I have been using CSM since version 0.7 and I am very happy for these simply and easy way of used.

The question is whether there is an updated template that suits both the web and smartphones, to facilitate reading on these devices since today many people use the mobile to surf on internet and the screens are too small to display the entire web.

Of course. There are multiple responsive themes in current versions (starting with 2.0, I think): 2k11, clean-blog, next, skeleton and timeline are all part of the core. Plus, there's bartleby and photo available on Spartacus, although the latter (as the name indicates) is intended for photo blogs.
