"Proxy real IP" damages backend view and category overview

Hi all!
Yesterday I installed the proxy real IP-plugin 1.0.0 on my blog (version 1.6.2, on php 5.4.4.9).
Installation was without notice of problems, but right after the installation the view of my admin area was changed/damaged. E.G. the blue bend is gone
The plugin was the second last in the events plugins list after installation. I moved it to the first position following the advice. Nothing changed then.
Now I explored, that as well in the frontend the template is damaged - in the category view, when clicking into a category, but not in the archive view (the latest, the newest) and not on the start page.
This I experienced with Seamonkey and Opera.
Has it influence to css-files? Is there something gets blocked/filtered out?
Could it be, that I need to put in front special other plugins in the list of event plugins?
I will test it yet with other browsers and I will deactivate it for testing and, if this not helps, will delete it again.
A pic perhaps next time. But perhaps you can reproduce it by yourself?
Any idea already, what I should try to do?
