suexec policy violation error

Have had a deployment (rev 0.9.1) running flawlessly for years until a month or two ago when the host made some major platform changes or something. When I try and do the update an "suexec policy violation" error is logged from index.php.

I can do a full fresh install (new db) and all seems OK. Any way to import just the blog entries and uploads to the fresh install? Not all that concerned about plugins etc, just restoring the old data.

In the backend of the new installation under “Administration” → “Import data”, but do not pick “Serendipity”. (That one assumes that both s9y installations involved run the same version.)

Instead, try “Generic RSS import” using your old installation's RSS as source. As for the uploads, it should suffice to just copy the uploads directory to the new installation via FTP or ssh, I guess.
