My event_twitter announce new entries on twitter. But (because plugin was added a lot later than the first records in blog) editing old records produced strange and not wanted result - saved entries was announced in twitter as new record, which, in common, is incorrect
May I ask "Do not announce any edited entries" checkbox in plugin's global settings in order to avoid situation of this tweet (check date) for this such old record

There is already an option for this. When you edit an entry you will find some "extended options" below. There is an option for not announcing this entry when saving.
